Tôi để xe máy ở vỉa hè vào quán tạp hóa mua hàng và bị công an phường xử phạt, yêu cầu kiểm tra giấy tờ tùy thân, giấy tờ xe.

Tôi muốn hỏi công an phường có quyền xử lý và kiểm tra giấy tờ xe không? Trong trường hợp này tôi bị phạt thế nào?
